Our Story

Whenever people ask how we met, we never really know where to begin. Technically, our story starts way back when we were just about a year old. Zoi's parents were at a party at Meach's house and put her down to sleep—in Meach's crib. Since then, Zoi has joked that she picked up Meach's scent all those years ago and was bound to end up with him. Fast forward to the summer of 2017 at Saint Sophia Camp, when Meach finally caught Zoi’s attention with his Cretan dancing and 3v3 basketball skills. Up until then, Zoi hadn’t paid much attention to him. But Meach? He had been keeping an eye on Zoi for a while. The following year, he asked her to his senior prom where, naturally, his entire family (including both yiayias and a few cousins) was there to take pictures. Zoi went on to attend Cal Poly SLO, and after two years of playing basketball at Cypress College, Meach transferred there too. SLO quickly became their favorite place and six years later, he proposed to Zoi back in San Luis Obispo.
