We’d like to say we met on the beach in Destin, Florida. We had taken a bus out there with a big group including both of our families in March of 2014. The two of us were the only kids closest in age so naturally we began to hang out more on the trip. We’d be sitting next to each other on the bus, roaming around the boardwalk, and even went parasailing together! Plus those evening walks on the beach sure were nice. Well one thing lead to another and now almost a decade later here we are getting married!

Shortly after we started dating, we went to prom together our junior year of high school and had our first dance as boyfriend and girlfriend. Soon we’ll be having our first dance as husband and wife!

What we originally planned as a causal weekend trip to visit our friends turned into another milestone for our relationship. Naeem managed to pull off a beautiful proposal in Brooklyn, New York.
