Like with all modern love stories, Stephen and Danielle met online in May 2022 (thank you, Hinge). They messaged back and forth for a few weeks and finally had their first date on June 6, 2022 - a casual Monday night date at a bar named Ludlow Liquors. They spent hours together that night laughing and learning about each other. Danielle loved Stephen's passion for his work, his sweet smile, and his calm and confident presence. Stephen learned quickly that Danielle was obsessed with her dog, Mya, loved being a nurse, and was definitely not afraid of riding on the back on his motorcycle (something he made sure to text the boys about when she got up to use the bathroom). They ended the night with a good night kiss and plans for two more dates before the end of the week. They didn't know it at the time, but that date would be the beginning of their lives together. Before the one-year anniversary of their first date, Danielle and Stephen were living together, and by the second anniversary had purchased a condo together in Chicago. By their third anniversary, Stephen surprised Danielle with a PERFECT proposal -- he asked her to marry him in a field of yellow wildflowers on an oceanside cliff in California. Danielle and Stephen are so grateful to have found each other and for the opportunity to celebrate their love with you while ringing in the new year!
