Sterling's Best Person
Willow Rosen (they/them/theirs) is a sexual health and family educator living in St. Louis with one of their partners, their cat and a handful off chickens. When they're not working they love to read, learn something new and share food with loved ones. They had the honor of meeting Zoey and Sterling through community education work and local garden food justice spaces and could not be more tickled to be a part of this wonderful celebration of their love.

Zoey's Best Person
Gabe Fleisher (he/him/his) has been trying to convince Zoey Fleisher for 20+ years that he is the best person they know. Now they have finally acknowledged it (or at least that he is tied). In his spare time, he also attends Georgetown University.
Ember
Sterling's Best Person
I met Sterling in the fall of 2016, while we were both MU students. We didn’t hit it off immediately but did become very close friends the following summer. We ended up moving in together in the fall of 2018, and have been roommates since. We both shared a passion for helping kids, and increasing access for trans people at MU. I met Zoey through Sterling, and have become very good friends with them as well. Zoey and I share a love of cooking, and sharing meals with our loved ones. Most days you can find us all watching cooking shows and cuddling with my dogs.
Evan
Zoey's Best Person
Hey y'all, I'm Evan! I currently work as a bridal stylist, often referred to as a "professional bridesmaid." I'm also the child of a wedding planner, (maybe put something like "so weddings are kind of my thing" or "so clearly I am excited for this wedding". I am overjoyed to finally play this role for my own loved ones, Zoey and Sterling. Zoey and I first met in the St. Louis Children's Choirs when we were in middle school. We were roommates on our first tour, which laid the groundwork for our immaculate partnership as roommates in college. From late-night shenanigans to sharing months' worth of spaghetti, and even miraculously avoiding catching any sickness I had at any given time, we have created countless memories filled with love. I can't wait to be the other half of the best person duo celebrating you!

Sterling's Wedding Party
I’m Laire, and I’ve known Zoey and Sterling for nearly 7 years at this point. We met at MO Camp Kiki when I was a junior in high school, and then I went on to go to University with Sterling and be the both of their roommates post college. Sterling and Zoey have been wonderful friends, mentors, and people throughout the length of time that I have known them, and I am so happy to see their union :)

Jade (pronouns: they/them): is Black, queer musician, producer, filmmaker and place-maker from St. Louis, Missouri, currently based in New York City. Jade has always valued the co-creation of enriching artistic environments. They look to the arts as a space for healing and empowering communities, contextualizing and mediating our political realities. As childhood friends, Jade & Zoey have known each other for 15 years. From uploading heartfelt acoustic songs on their YouTube channel as kids, to trudging across beautiful natural landscapes of Canada as teenagers, Zoey and Jade’s story begins and continues with music, love, and their families at the center of it all.
Jaclyn
Zoey's Wedding Party
Hi, I’m Jaclyn (she/her)! Currently I work with youth at the St. Louis Public Library while completing my Masters in Library and Information Science. I met Zoey as a freshman in college at Webster University in 2017. From those days of homework hangouts at coffee shops, cracking ourselves up until all the other annoyed customers cleared out, to calling each other at 2 AM to confirm there was definitely a ghost in our shared apartment wall banging around, the memories we made at school brought us together as close friends, and I’m elated that it has led to getting to support Zoey and Sterling through their wedding as part of the party.
