In 2015, Wesley moved to Warrensburg to study aviation at UCM. Little did he know that the ability to soar through the skies wasn't the only thing he would get from a small town. We connected online and quickly became inseparable, finding both friendship and love in one another. After Wesley's many attempts to make me his girlfriend, I asked him "what are we", as if he hadn't made it any more clear. June 29th, 2020 is a day to forever be remembered. We have gone on numerous trips together exploring Florida, Washington, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Our adventures went beyond just sightseeing; we find enjoyment in camping and fishing. Going forward, we have bonded over becoming parents to our beautiful daughter Amelia, cheering and eating nachos at sports games, staying up late playing card games, and enjoy evenings spent watching the next episode of our favorite tv show. These memories won't stop here, and we can't wait for the next adventure as husband and wife.

Wesley asked me to marry him during a beautiful sunset sail in Key West. Later that evening, Wesley surprised me with a dinner surrounded by both of our parents, who traveled to celebrate.
