After 3 years of being in the Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh! together but never really getting a chance to know each other, it only took one fated late night at a house party in West Davis for Zoe and Troy to see a spark. They went on their first date to a Valentine's Day trivia night at a local brewery and the rest is history.

Even though COVID put a damper on most things, they loved the simple time together in their little bubble. After a trial cohabitation forced by the pandemic, Troy and Zoe decided to make it more permanent and move into their first apartment together in Midtown Sacramento. This was when they adopted Marvin, the three-legged wonder cat!

Needing a change of scenery, they decided to make the move to Oakland, putting them right in the middle of some of the best food in the state! They have both changed jobs since moving and gained a new roommate, Zoe's brother, Alex! This is where they currently reside and they're excited to keep exploring what Oakland and the Bay Area has to offer.

They knew they were ready to get married, but Troy really wanted to surprise Zoe when he popped the question. Enlisting the help of some close friends, he proposed on the beautiful beach of Coronado while Zoe was on a girl's trip. She was completely surprised and was so happy that so many of their friends and Troy's sister, Rachel, were able to be there!
