FAQs

Question

Do we need to stay at the Secrets/Dreams?

Answer

Our dream for this Mexico wedding is to spend multiple days celebrating with all of you! For the best experience, and since all official events will take place there, we strongly encourage staying at Secrets or Dreams. Important Note: To ensure we can include you in every part of the extended celebration, the Welcome Dinner and the pool party are reserved only for guests staying on-site at the resort. Don't hesitate to contact Zoe or Travis if you have any questions or need assistance!

Question

How do we book?

Answer

We have a room block with both Secrets and Dreams. Please book with the room block using the link here: 1. Dreams (children allowed): https://bookings.hyattinclusivecollection.com/bookcore/availability/drvpv/2026-05-07/2026-05-10?cp= ZOEANDTRAVIS 2. Secrets Block has been filled. There are still rooms available on the Dreams side. Dreams block: https://bookings.hyattinclusivecollection.com/bookcore/availability/drvpv/2026-05-07/2026-05-10?cp= ZOEANDTRAVIS - To ensure that you are being offered the group rates, the site should show a "ZOE and TRAVIS" banner. If the names are not displayed, don’t complete the booking process as it will not be in the room block and rates may vary. - Note the room block is for double occupancy and more. If you are booking a single room with 1 person, book directly through the hotel and do not use the room block. - Guests are encouraged to book early.

Question

What is the difference between Secrets and Dreams?

Answer

Secrets is adults only and Dreams allows kids. Both resorts are on the same property and you can walk from one to the other. Secrets guests are able to go to Dreams grounds but Dreams guests cannot enter Secrets grounds. Due to the reciprocity, Secrets rooms are more expensive.

Question

Are children allowed at the ceremony?

Answer

Children are allowed if included in your RSVP.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

Once you land, the hotel is just a quick 12–15 minute taxi ride from the Puerto Vallarta airport (PVR). A Quick Tip for Arrival: When you exit the airport, you might be approached by many people offering rides. This is totally normal in Mexico! For the easiest experience, just walk right past these offers until you are completely outside the terminal, where you can easily find an official taxi stand. Look for "Official Taxi" signs and grab a taxi (should be around $29 USD to the resort and $12 USD returning from the resort to the airport). Note: Uber does exist in Puerto Vallarta but in order to catch an uber at the airport, you need to walk off the premise. For that reason, it is recommended to take a taxi for ease leaving the airport but you can book an Uber on the return from the resort to the airport.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Welcome Party (Thursday Evening) Vibe: Resort Cocktail Attire is encouraged! Think stylish, relaxed, and fun—cocktail dresses, nice shorts, linen shirts, or sundresses are perfect. A Note for Your Feet: Since we'll be celebrating right on the beach, please plan your footwear accordingly! Ceremony & Reception (Friday Evening) Vibe: Resort Formal Attire is encouraged! This means suits, elegant floor/midi-length dresses. Good News for Heels: The ceremony and reception will not be held on the sand, so feel free to wear your favorite heels or dress shoes!
