Flight
Flying in from Abroad: We highly suggest either flying into the Ho Chi Minh City airport (SGN) and then flying domestic to Phu Quoc (PQC), or flying into Phu Quoc directly. Getting to Phu Quoc: If you're flying into Phu Quoc from Hanoi or Saigon, Vietnam has several airlines that can get you there quite easily. If you'd like to keep it budget, VietJet is cheap and easy, but often has delays. Vietnam Airlines is a bit pricer, but you can expect a smoother ride and a touch more legroom.
Travel Note
If you are flying into Vietnam, it's best to apply for your e-visa in advance. This website is run directly by the government and has instructions that are easy to follow. UK citizens don't need an e-Visa if their stay is less than 45 days.
Travel Note
Getting around Phú Quốc is easy and laid-back. You can use apps like Grab or Xanh to book inexpensive taxis to get to tourist destinations around the isalnd. If you're up for a bit of adventure, booking a boat tour or snorkelling tour can be done at many different hotels and hostels. If you're joing us from aborad, we do not recommend you rent out a motorbike on Phu Quoc. We would be so sad if any accident or injury happened to you during your trip. If you're not an experienced driver in Vietnam, we think its best if you save it for your next trip.
