We met through volunteering at a Vintage Clothing Store called Kingdom Clothing (KC). While modeling at KC, we were introduced. When we met, we were in very different places in life. Ryan, deciding whether to stay in Michigan or move back to South Carolina; Zoë, graduating college and figuring out what was next. Despite many variables - mission trips on opposite sides of the country, Zoë avoiding Ryan because of an undeniable crush, and being coworkers... we couldn't deny the chemistry! In September of 2024, Ryan finally asked Zoë on a date after flirting with her for weeks...then he totaled his car a few days before our first date. So, that meant our first date included a trip to the junkyard and dinner at Chipotle afterwards. The rest is history! Ryan proposed on September 12th, 2025. We are overjoyed for what Jesus has in store for this covenant. "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us."
