Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Classy Cocktail Attire: Wear what makes you feel good, but please no jeans or hats :) Keep in mind: It will be cold in Estes Park during this time of year, and there will likely be snow on the ground. We suggest bringing a warm coat (or two).

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Unfortunately, no transportation will be provided. There is plenty of parking at the venue, but it is recommended to carpool or walk (depending on where you are staying).

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

March in Colorado is hit or miss: It could be 30 degrees and snowing sideways one day and sunny and 60 degrees another day. We always say better safe than sorry! Bring a coat and plenty of warm clothes as well as boots if you have them.

Question

Tips for "non-natives"

Answer

Altitude sickness is a real thing! It typically occurs within 12 to 24 hours of reaching higher altitude. It's important to stay hydrated (aim for at least 64 to 100 oz of water). It is also helpful to make sure you get plenty of rest, and if experiencing headaches, take ibuprofen. P.S. Unfortunately, the consumption of alcohol or caffeine will work against you! Symptoms of altitude sickness include: - headache - fatigue - nausea - shortness of breath - dizziness/light headedness - insomnia - confusion/disorientation - swelling of the hands, feet and face - dry and persistent cough - blueish tint to skin or lips
