Let's go back to April 2017..... Zoe and Reetom first met at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's accepted students day for the class of 2021. They shared mutual friends, and ended up sitting at the same table in the Houston Field House. Despite spending the entire day in the same group, they would not speak again until later that summer, when Zoe texted Reetom for the first time. One text turned into long nights on facetime, talking into the early morning. By the time student orientation came in July of 2017, they were the best of friends! That friendship didn't turn into anything more until Reetom and his family traveled to India for a month, and in the few moments a day where they were able to talk, Reetom admitted his feelings to Zoe. By the time Zoe and Reetom moved into Barton Hall at RPI in late August, they spent every waking moment texting back and forth, and started Freshman year as a couple. Despite initial thoughts of this being a fleeting relationship, their bond continued to grow stronger each day, and they moved in together at the end of their sophomore year. Shortly after moving into their Waterford, NY apartment, Zoe and Reetom took the next step in their relationship, and adopted their wonderful dog, Bear. After graduating from college, Zoe, Reetom, and Bear packed up and moved to Philadelphia where they have lived ever since. On July 13, 2025, Reetom popped the question and asked Zoe to marry him. They can't wait for their big day and to celebrate with all of their friends and family!
