Things To Do

Blu at The Pfister

Blu at The Pfister

424 East Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Venture up to Blu, The Pfister’s 23rd-floor gem in the sky, and take in the incredible panoramic views of downtown Milwaukee and Lake Michigan. One of the city’s most popular martini bars, it’s a great spot for after-dinner drinks or to unwind if you’re arriving early for the weekend. Since the wedding is on Saturday, guests coming in on Friday can catch live jazz at 8 pm!

Colectivo Lakefront

Colectivo Lakefront

1701 North Lincoln Memorial Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202

If you're looking for a relaxed spot to grab coffee over the wedding weekend, Colectivo on the Lake is a great choice! Located right along Lake Michigan, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a latte and take in the beautiful lakefront views. This spot is especially meaningful to us. Pat and I spent so many hours here studying for midterms and finals, always claiming the cozy table on the second floor for the night. Whether you’re looking for a quiet morning coffee or a place to hang out before the festivities, we highly recommend stopping by :)

Marquette University

Marquette University

1250 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53233

Since Marquette is where it all began for us, we’d love for our guests to take a stroll around campus while in town! Whether you're up for a walk down memory lane or just want to explore a little piece of Milwaukee, it’s a great spot to visit. Fun fact: What was once McCormick Hall (aka the “Beer Can”)—a beloved eyesore of a dorm—has since been torn down. In its place now stands the new business school, which just so happens to be where we met on the very first night of freshman year! Some of our favorite spots to check out: The St. Joan of Arc Garden: A peaceful little courtyard, perfect for a quiet moment (and where we would hang out between classes). Greek Row: Take a stroll and spot Pat’s fraternity, Sigma Chi, and Zoë’s sorority, Sigma Kappa. The Alumni Memorial Union (AMU): A central hub on campus, great for grabbing a coffee or just soaking in the Marquette energy.

Milwaukee Public Market

Milwaukee Public Market

400 North Water Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202

If you're looking for a fun spot to grab a bite, shop local, or just explore, the Milwaukee Public Market is a must-visit. Located in the heart of the Historic Third Ward, it’s home to a variety of vendors offering everything from fresh seafood and artisan cheese to handcrafted chocolates and cocktails. When we lived in Milwaukee, we went almost every weekend, and now, every time we visit, we always make a stop for lunch! It’s a great place to explore downtown Milwaukee :)
