We are having a celebration!

Zoë So I was sitting at a table with my friend Brooklynne at Carlson Library (University of Toledo). We were doing homework and talking when Marsean came over to the table to say hi to Brooklynne. I did not know him so I was just sitting there minding my business, then he said, "Hey! How are you doing? I’m Mo." I said, "Hi, I’m Zoë. Nice to meet you!." He then asked both Brooklynne and me if it was okay that he sat at the table with us since all the tables were filled, and we both said that that was fine. After that, we all got very little work done since we had been talking and laughing for probably 2 hours. Mo A couple of weeks later, I saw Zoë at a party. We ended up leaving the party around the same time. I was there to pick my friends up and Zoë was riding a passenger in Brooklynnes car. As I’m leaving, I pulled up to a red light and Brooklynne was at that red light too. She had told me to roll the window down and here goes Zoë singing to me in the passenger seat. About a week goes by, and I see Brooklynne in the library again, and I told her to tell Zoë to finish the song. Zoë Brooklynne ends up telling me that Mo wants me to finish the song. So I took it upon myself to DM him saying, "hey! I heard you wanted me to finish the song." (To this day, neither one of us remembers what the song was, so it’s just a joke at this point). Anyways, We exchanged a few messages on Instagram and then Marsean eventually asked me for my number. After texting for maybe 4-5 days, Marsean texted me on a Friday morning and said something along the lines of, "hey I know our schedules don’t align, so I called off work today and was hoping to take you out. Does 12 pm for the movie Halloween work for you?" I wasn’t going to go and then Ronnae kinda pressed me about it so I did. We met up at the movies, and the movie was terrible. As we’re leaving, Marsean looks at me and says "it really doesn’t sit right with me that all you’ve had to eat today was the twirlers I bought you, so let me take you out to lunch." Before going to lunch, I told him that I had to be at work by 4:30 and that I needed to go home and change. He assured me that we could just go to BJ’s since it was in the parking lot. Mo Once we got to BJ’s, Zoë and I ended up talking for about 2 solid hours. Throughout this entire time, neither of us ever looked at our phones. The bill comes out and Zoë flips her phone over and realizes that the time was 4:07 pm. She says "Oh my God! I didn’t realize the time. I’m going to be late for work." At this point I tell her "You know I got the bill, we can catch up later. I don’t want you to get in trouble." She looks at me and says "I was gonna quit that job anyway. I guess today is just that day." I tell her "I think you can make it! You just gotta go now." Obviously, I did not know Zoë all that well, or I wouldn’t have questioned her quitting, because that is a very Zoë thing to do. After Zoë decided she wasn’t going to work I said, "well we have all this time, let’s do something else." We decided to go bowling and ended up being there for almost 3-4 hours. We bowled two games and Zoë came up with the idea to tell each other an embarrassing fact about ourselves every time we didn’t strike. This then led to further conversation and really getting to know each other. After bowling our 2 games, we sat down and continued our conversation until we were basically kicked out of the lane. We ended up leaving, and I was driving Zoë back to her car. In the car, we were singing, listening to music, and honestly just vibing. Once we got back to the parking lot, we started talking again, for about 2-3 more hours. ... I mean you guys can do the math. Our first date was almost 10 hours long. From that day on, we never spent a day apart. Ultimately that’s how we got here.
