Eight years ago… Mason and Zoe met at the Whites' house during the Snowpocalypse of 2015 in high school. History was made that day when Mason was in awe of Zoe’s knowledge of sneaker culture. From that day, relationship as friends began. This friendly relationship was great, but Mason wanted more. It took over a year, and going to separate colleges for this to happen. Mason went off to Texas A&M and Zoe headed west to Texas Tech. They kept tabs on each other throughout the next year and then finally started dating their sophomore year of college. Their relationship was hardly long distance because Zoe visited him every weekend - She drove approx. 34,800 miles from LBK to Cstat during the next 3 years of college. From SAE parties, to standing in the student section at countless Aggie football games, Mason wasn't the only reason Zoe wanted to visit. Zoe also became great friends with the other Aggies Mason was friends with. She became a part of the group. What started as weekend trips to party with each other’s friends every weekend, became relaxing weekends of movie nights, cooking, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Zoe and Mason both grew up and matured together and were ready to take on the world together once they graduated. As their relationship continued, they got closer and closer to living in the same city while navigating Mason's master's program & Zoe's new career in Dallas. Finally, in 2021, Zoe and Mason both relocated to Dallas to live in the same city as each other. They have been happily dating ever since. In May 2023, Mason and Zoe got engaged in the exact backyard where they first met (shoutout to the Richter family and current owners of the house) (two of the most important families in our story). They are so excited to finally get married after waiting almost 7 years for this day to come.
