we're getting married!

Let me tell you a story, a love story, and to us the most important story in the world! We met while attending a Doctoral program, where we were faced with many rigors along the road and the only thing that got us through it all was the love that we share for each other. We share passions such as hiking, exercise, sports, science, dogs, adventures, and did I say sports!? (I'll never let him live it down that my team has 18 national titles and his only has a measly 5.) We have traveled to mountain ranges, beaches and resorts all over North America and had a tradition of always presenting each other with keepsake "love rocks" from each adventure. Our last trip was a beautiful, warm, and slightly drizzly sunset on a Bohemian beach. As we strolled along the beach and talked about life (I had never seen Mason so nervous), he exclaimed he thought he had finally found the perfect love rock. He slowly turned around, got down on one knee and presented me with the best "love rock" he could have ever given me, an engagement ring! We are elated for you to join us as we celebrate uniting our love forever! We'll see ya'll at the alter!
