Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as “no.” We will miss celebrating with you; however, we must provide a total guest count to our vendors in a timely manner. There is limited on-site lodging at Markree Castle, reserved for the wedding party and immediate family. If any rooms become available, we’ll reach out to guests directly. You can check out our Travel tab for two nearby hotels where we’ve set up room blocks. There are also lots of great Airbnb options in Sligo if that’s more your style!
You can use the "FreeNow" app to easily call a taxi, or opt for Uber as an alternative.
Our celebration is reserved for those specifically named on the invitations. If you have any special requests, please feel free to reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate based on our guest count!

We’ll be having a dinner the night before with our wedding party and family, but we’d love for you to join us for a drink at the Markree Castle Bar from 8:30pm onwards.
2:15 PM – Ceremony 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM – Drinks Reception 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM – Speeches 5:30 PM – Dinner Following dinner, we will make our way to the dancefloor and full service cash/card bar which are located on the first floor of the castle.
We kindly ask our guests to wear semi-formal attire. Tuxedos and gowns are welcome, as well as suits and cocktail dresses. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing Emerald, as that’s the shade our bridesmaids will be in!
We hope the ceremony will be outside on the patio, weather permitting. If it rains, the ceremony will be held inside.
Day 2 will be held in Galway City. It will start at around 5pm, at O'Reillys Bar and Kitchen, Salthill.
No dress code—just drop by the pub whenever suits you! It’ll be a relaxed and informal get-together.
For Day 2, we’re arranging a bus from Markree Castle to Galway Bay Hotel for a smooth and convenient journey. Bus will leave Markree Castle at 12pm.
