What started off as a match on an app called Hinge led to a date we didn’t want to end. Before that first meeting, though, Zoe was running late-nervous, apologetic, and hoping Langston wouldn’t give up and leave. She reassured him that she was on her way and, in fact, a real person. Luckily, he decided to wait… but only because she was a Scorpio (and he figured that meant she was worth the meeting). The moment we finally met, the connection was instant. We found ourselves talking endlessly about both being teachers, our favorite Bible verses, and how much we cherish our families. Conversation flowed so naturally that when the date was supposed to end, neither of us wanted to leave. So we extended it with a walk through the park-sharing stories, laughing, and already thinking about when we could see each other again. From that unexpected beginning came something steady, joyful, and real. We traveled to Pittsburgh for Zoe to meet Langston’s family, and Langston met Zoe's family and traveled to Los Angeles and Phoenix. One date became many, and many became a life we couldn’t imagine without each other. After the most romantic proposal in Paris, we became engaged-still choosing each other every day, and we are so excited for what God has next for us.
