What time should I arrive?

The ceremony begins at 4pm, so we kindly request that you arrive between 3:30-3:45 to ensure a prompt start. There will be bottled water to refresh you while you enjoy the live music.

On the rare occasion that we see some November rain, we have an alternative ceremony space just outside of our reception venue. Please follow the signage upon arrival to easily locate the ceremony space.

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we adore your little ones, we would love our big night to be an opportunity for you to relax, enjoy yourselves, and take full advantage of the day and celebrations. To help us plan, only children who are part of our immediate family will be attending.

Is there a preferred way to give a gift?

Answer

Your presence on our special day is truly the greatest gift we could ask for, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you. If you do wish to give something, a wishing well will be available at the wedding for cards or small tokens, but please know that your love, laughter, and company are all we need. Any monetary gifting is contributing towards our honeymoon fund!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We are having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the vows. This helps us create a truly intimate moment and allows everyone to be fully present. Please allow our talented photographer and videographer to work their magic and capture the moments for you! After the ceremony, feel free to snap away! The stunning grounds of Caversham House provide the perfect backdrop, and almost every corner is a picture-perfect moment - so please enjoy capturing memories throughout the rest of the day.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

If you know us, you know we love a good party! You can absolutely expect to be treated to drinks throughout the day. A complimentary cocktail will be served during the pre-dinner drinks, followed by beer and wine during dinner and dancing. For those who prefer something a little different, spirits and other beverages will also be available for purchase.
