Question
What should I wear?
Answer
To our wedding, we are asking everyone to come Semi-Formal (cocktail dresses and jumpsuits, dark suits and ties, etc.). No jeans, t-shirts, or shorts. We ask that you stick within our color scheme: light purples, forest greens, and neutrals. Blues are also welcome, but please no neon or bright colors! We want everything and everyone to look their best for our amazing photographer.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Everything for the evening will take place outside. There is a covered rain location and a tent for the reception. So make sure you wear appropriate shoes!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
The wedding is taking place in Roscoe IL during early September. Though we cannot predict the exact weather for our big day, we planned so that we will be getting late summer/early fall weather. Plan for it to be around 50-60 degrees during the day, and 40-50 degrees after sundown. Bring a jacket if you tend to get chilly! We will have fireplaces and limited indoor space with restrooms for the warm-blooded among us.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
Answer
The easiest way to get to the venue is to plug in the venue's address (13276 White School Rd, Roscoe, IL 61073) into the GPS. If you are coming from one of the hotel blocks we have arranged, a shuttle is available for booking to and from the venue. All wedding day festivities will take place at the Hidden Creek Estates grounds.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes, parking is available at the venue. The venue can only hold up to 80 vehicles, so we recommend carpooling!

We are going to be offering a Vegetarian option. If you have other specific dietary needs or allergies, please contact Zoe or Jessa directly.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Some alcoholic beverages will be available at the reception. Drink selection is limited to signature cocktails, wine, & beer. If you plan on consuming alcohol during the reception, please use the hotel transportation services or arrange rides accordingly. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE AT OUR WEDDING. Thank you!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 1, 2024. This deadline is important so that we can finalize our menu and ceremony arranges with the venue!

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Answer
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. Please visit the Registry page for wedding gift ideas.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

OF COURSE! Just tag us in your own photos. If you decide to repost pictures taken by our photographer, please credit Amanda Summerlin in your caption.

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm there?
Answer
Roscoe is a quaint, countryside town. The nearest city is Beloit, WI, and there are tons of things to do there. Please visit our "Things to Do" page for more detail!
