Do you provide transportation from Main Street to the Ceremony venue?

Answer

YES!! Shuttles will pick up/drop off at the hotel 200 Main (at 200 Main Street) and at Old Edward's Inn, around the corner by the spa entrance (W Church Street). Shuttles will begin running at 3:15 pm and will make continuous loops. Note that the ceremony will begin at 4 pm.

Where is the cocktail hour and reception and how do I get there? And how do I get back to the Highlands?

Answer

The cocktail hour and reception are at The Old Edward's Club, (688 Highlands Cove Drive, Cashiers, NC 28717) 15 minutes north of the Highlands. It is a winding mountain road and we encourage everyone to use the transportation provided.. The transport will pick you up at the ceremony location, the Orchard House, and take you to the Club. Transportation down the mountain back to the Highlands will be provided starting with a single shuttle service beginning at 8:30 pm and making loops. Multiple transport vehicles will head down together at 10:30 pm, the conclusion of the wedding. The drop off spots are again at the Old Edward's Inn (Church Street) and 200 Main.

Can we drive to the ceremony and then on to the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Yes, but parking is limited at the ceremony and it is a winding mountain road from the ceremony to the reception. We encourage everyone to take the transport provided.

No there are no Ubers. We encourage you to take the transportation provided.
