They say timing is everything, and for us that is absolutely the truth. We both grew up playing ice hockey and both likely spent more time in an ice rink than we did in our own homes. Fast forward to our adult lives... Forrest had been coaching girls hockey with his Dad at U-32 for a few years when Hank (big shout out) asked me if I wanted to help out. Missing hockey a ton, I was super excited to get back on the ice and help out when I could. From there, the rest sort of just happened. As the end of the season neared, we started spending more and more time together outside of the rink. After a summer full of concerts, weddings, days at camp, and bonfires with friends and family, it didn't take us long to realize that neither of us saw a future without the other in it . We still can't believe we grew up one town apart, shared many friends and ran in the same crowds but yet never managed to meet each other until we did. Timing. Is. Everything. Almost 3 years later and here we are, so so excited to take this next step together. We both have hockey to thank for some of our best friends in life, and now for each other. We absolutely cannot wait to celebrate with all of you, the most important people in our lives. Put your party pants on because we plan on a night full of dancing, food, and fun with all of you.
