Dalton and I first met while working at Sun & Ski Sports in Tulsa. I can’t say it was love at first sight—actually, Dalton didn’t like me much in the beginning! But over time, we started to connect. I’d conveniently find reasons to ask for his help, and those little moments slowly turned into real conversations and genuine connection. When Dalton decided to leave the job, I panicked a little—terrified that my soulmate was walking out of my life before we even had a real chance. So, I worked up the courage to ask him to hang out as friends… and the rest is history. I still like to think it was my floppy hat on our first official date that won him over—he didn’t stand a chance. From there, everything just started falling into place (or maybe he realized I’m kind of amazing). Either way, here we are—laughing our way through life and excited to start this next chapter together. No more retail shifts, just love, laughter, and maybe a few matching hoodies.
