From undergrad at the University of Washington to a long distance relationship across continents, Zoe and I built a foundation anchored in adventure. As Zoe completed her Masters, our bond grew into a lasting partnership. Happier than ever about her return to the states, I started meticulously planning an engagement that would suit our love for travel and quality time. London will always be a special place for Zoe and I, and it only felt right for it to play a role in the start of our forever. After she walked across the stage with her new degree, we took in one last dinner with family in the city we'll always love. With Zoe's soft spot for all things Christmas, I surprised her the next morning with a trip to the ultimate winter wonderland: Zermatt, Switzerland. After the best raclette we'd ever had, she agreed to be my bride atop the mountain. It was then that we turned the page on the prelude and began writing the first chapter of our lifelong adventure together.
Cory and I met our freshman year at the University of Washington, but it was long before we reconnected through an economics class our senior year. More than anything at that time, I was drawn to Cory’s intellect. My brain churned for answers to his questions that were effortlessly brilliant (obviously) as we became study partners that fall. Cory and I were ambitiously following our own paths the last year of undergrad. After a year, we found ourselves graduating with a bond rooted in respect for one another. I decided to move to London to pursue graduate school that fall. Instead of drawing on the long list of potential problems, Cory looked at me with a smile and simply said that I wouldn't be me if I didn't chase my next big adventure. As I packed my bags to move across the world, there was a wave of ease knowing I found a partner that would support my greatest ambitions. He traveled to Europe throughout the year to see me, each time to a new place adding unique memories to the long log of unforgettable moments. It became abundantly clear there would be no future without him beside me. And here we are.
