We're getting married!

Our story began at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville during our senior year of college. Zoe and Connor were in the same three-hour sales class twice a week. They made eye contact, and even though masks were required post-COVID, Zoe used her detective skills to find out his name. They became study buddies, spending countless hours at the library—Connor excelling in mathematics and analytics, while Zoe helped him with sales, communication, and staying organized. Study sessions turned into weekend outings, weekly dinners, and attending Connor's baseball games. He even met Zoe's mom Julie and Julie's best friend, Sue Rensing, and survived her questioning session while getting a ride from the airport after winter break. Of course, Ava and Julie loved him too and said Zoe would be crazy not to pursue him. They officially started dating on January 7th, 2022. After graduation, they took a pre-move trip to Cancun and fell in love with spending time in paradise together. Connor made the distance work as he finished up his baseball season, visiting Zoe every weekend in Dallas, Texas, after she moved there for a job offer in June 2022. Despite Connor’s claims of not moving to Texas, he did—arriving in August 2022 and moving into Zoe's studio apartment. Since then, they've lived in four apartments, welcomed two bunnies, Peach and Peanut, and recently added Bentley the Bernese to the family. On July 15th, 2024, Connor surprised Zoe and proposed in Orlando, Florida, with her mom and sister there to celebrate. We are beyond excited to return to paradise and get married, surrounded by our family and friends!
