Question
Where should I stay?
Answer
Our wedding will be located on Tybee Island, GA. However, we recommend that our guests stay in the greater Savannah downtown area. Tybee island will be a great stay for those that are not too keen on going out after the wedding, and/or are wanting a beach vacation. When looking at downtown locations, feel free to send Colman or Zoe's way if you have any questions. Bay street has great hotels, as well as River street. It is a tourist destination, and places book up quick so please keep this in mind when booking!

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?
Answer
There will not be parking directly at the venue, however we will be sending out a parking location that is very close-by, and are able to pick people up by golf cart and/or trolley. The parking lot is also a short 5 minute walk to the venue. You will be able to uber or Lyft to Tybee, but getting off of Tybee late at night will be costly and very challenging unless you arrange a ride in advance. We have arranged a trolley to pickup after the wedding and take anyone who is needing to get back downtown! If you are not planning on driving to the venue and do not want to take the trolley, please have a plan in place or reach out to Zoe or Colman for help. Please leave yourself plenty of extra time, especially if you are not familiar with the area. Traffic can get a little crazy coming on and off the island.

Is there childcare in the area?
Answer
If you are bringing your children and are in need of childcare, please reach out to Zoe as soon as possible to help you find someone! However, children are welcome to join you at the wedding. *We are considering having childcare at the wedding in a separate part of the building for those parents who want to have the option to pop in and out, if the need is large enough.*

If I arrive on Tybee Island early, what should I do?
Answer
If you are giving yourself extra time on the island before the wedding, we recommend checking out the local bars and shops! You will see once you arrive on the south end of the island that everything is very walkable. Our venue is a short walk from Pier 16, Wet Willies, Rockhouse and Nikki's 1971 bar.

Commuting around the Tybee Island with no rental car?
Answer
There are plenty of local golf cart rentals available for day use if you are wanting to spend the day on Tybee. There is also a Tybee local taxi service called Breezy (912) 665-9988. They are cash only and will take you anywhere on the island for $5-10.

What is the weather like in Savannah in October?
Answer
October is the most beautiful time of year in Savannah. During the ceremony we are looking at highs in the 70's, and lows in the 60's. The ceremony will be during the day, but once the sun goes down you will likely want a light jacket or cardigan.
Question
What does formal attire mean?
Answer
Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the wedding dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire, and a touch less dressy than a black-tie nuptial. Something to consider: the wedding has beach access, but it is not a beach style wedding. It is at a private home where both the ceremony and reception will be held.
