Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event. We love kids, especially all of your little ones, but for the night we would appreciate that you have a babysitter on the schedule. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts promptly at 5pm, please arrive 15 minutes prior to be seated.

Is the Wedding Venue outdoors?

Answer

Yes, we will have ceremony overlooking the Stono River on grass. Cocktail hour will be held in front of the Island House on an oyster tabby with Reception under a large tent with flooring.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Garden Attire requested. Keep in mind we will be outdoors.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is ample parking on site at the venue. We encourage taking Uber or Lyft for those celebrating the night away! You are welcome to leave your car overnight at the venue and pick it up before 10am the following morning.

Will any transportation be provided?

Answer

Shuttles will be provided after the reception ends, offering all guests a ride into downtown Charleston with us. We encourage an Uber or Lyft to the ceremony if you plan to celebrate the night with us and do not wish to drive.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, when formal invitations are sent we will ask for RSVPs via the website with a section to note any dietary restrictions.
