Things To Do

We hope, that if you have time before or after the wedding, you are able to explore our little home town. There are a TON of things you can do, from good drinks to great food, from shopping to hiking, there's something for everyone!

Gravel & Grind

15 East 6th Street, Frederick, MD 21701
, (301) 806-2124

Zoe's go to order: Burrata, pesto, arugula, and blistered tomato toast with a large black coffee. Chris's go to order: Goat cheese and jam toast. Note: G&G is one of the most popular coffee shops in Downtown Frederick, but traffic tends to die down after 11am.

Bakehouse

69 South Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701

Bakehouse sources local ingredients from the Frederick area, and bakes all their pastries fresh every morning. The menu changes monthly, but is guaranteed to be delicious, and tends to sell out within hours! If you're hoping to snag one of these incredible desserts, plan accordingly as there will definitely be a line!

McClintock Bar Back

35 South Carroll Street, Frederick, MD 21701
, (301) 825-5921

Owned by McClintock Distillery, Bar Back is new to Downtown and is one of our new favorite bars to hang out at. With "speak easy" vibes, friendly bartenders, and locally sourced ingredients, you're sure to have a great time! Zoe's favorite drink: Chai Pear Gin Sour, Chris' favorite drink: Spicy Moscow Mule **if you have time to do a tasting at McClintock Distillery, we highly recommend it!**

Tenth Ward Distilling Company

55 East Patrick Street, Frederick, MD 21701
, (301) 360-5888

A woman-owned distillery, their cocktail lab features unconventional hand-crafted cocktails from their spirits! While they don't sell food within their own space, they are adjacent to Maxwell's Kitchen, where you can order food from your own table and they will bring it right over, or your can bring in any outside food you'd like! Their menu rotates seasonally, but their cocktail flight is a great way to sample all they have to offer!

Brewer's Alley

124 North Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701
, (301) 631-0089

Brewer's Roof Top Bar is one of our favorite places to go for date night! Our go to order is either the pickle and jalapeño pizza (don't knock it till you try it!), or the margherita pizza. The Roof Top is the only roof-top bar in Downtown Frederick, and is typically less busy during lunch-time hours (happy hour is alwayssss busy).

Firestone's Market

105 North Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701
, (301) 663-0330

A local market that features artisan food and gifts along with a sandwich counter that offers a variety of sandwich, salads, and house-made soups! Firestone's Market is located next to Firestone's Tavern, which features a full restaurant menu, and Firestone's Sidecar, which specializes in delicious desserts and milkshakes.
