Travel Note
For those of you coming from out of town and not familiar with the city, there are a handful of hotels near the venue (West Loop). We do not have a hotel block. Other neighborhoods we recommend in order of distance from the venue: Ukrainian Village, Wicker Park, Lake View (north side). If you have a question about a specific neighborhood or location, please feel free to reach out to either of us. You can also stay downtown if you're feeling adventurous!
Travel Note
If you are driving from out of town, Chicago has metered street parking throughout the city. If you are staying in a neighborhood, note that some street parking may be by permit only (there will be signs posted accordingly). Some street parking is not permitted overnight. SpotHero is a great option if you want a definite parking spot throughout your stay.

The CTA Blue Line has direct access to O'Hare Airport. It takes about an hour by public transit to get downtown from the airport. Depending on traffic, travel by car may take 30 minutes to an hour. The CTA Orange Line has direct access to Chicago Midway. It takes about 45 minutes by public transit to get downtown from the airport. Depending on traffic, travel by car may take 30-45 minutes.
Travel Note
The Ashland stop on the Pink and Green line is the closest to the venue. The Pink and Green lines are easily accessible downtown. The #9 Ashland bus is also close to the venue. We'll add details on the closest CTA stops for the welcome dinner once finalized. You can tap to pay at all transit terminals (including the L and the bus).
