We're getting Married!

It all started in the simplest, most unexpected way. In January of 2022, we met through a random ad on Snapchat—I know, how basic—but little did we know that this small moment would change everything. What began as a casual conversation quickly blossomed into something much deeper. We became good friends, talking almost every day, and sharing our thoughts, dreams, and laughter. The time we spent FaceTiming and calling each other felt like it had always been that way—like we were just waiting for our paths to cross. Then, on February 19th, 2022, we met for the very first time in person. We went to the roller rink in Redfield, and though I was absolutely terrible on skates (I was basically Bambi out there), I didn’t care. I was just so excited to finally be with him. But, in typical Chastin fashion, within five seconds of meeting me, he asked, “Do you have a lazy eye?” (I’ll never forget that moment—lol). But from that awkward, funny beginning, everything felt so right. Life with him started to move quickly, and I loved every second of it. We spent endless days at the lake, talking about everything and nothing at all, creating memories that would last a lifetime. It wasn’t just about the places we went—it was about being together, feeling more connected every time we shared a moment. We grew together, becoming high school sweethearts, and supporting each other as we both graduated. Each milestone brought us closer, and I realized just how lucky I was to have him by my side. And then came the day we moved into our first house. It wasn’t anything grand at first, but it was ours. We built it together, and it quickly became a home filled with love, laughter, and memories that I will cherish forever. Now, as we’re about to get married, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. All these moments—big and small—have led me to the most amazing person I’ve ever known. I wouldn’t want to share this life with anyone else. Chastin isn’t just my best friend; he’s my soulmate, my partner, and the person I want to spend forever with. Looking back, it’s funny how something so simple—a random ad on Snapchat—could lead to such a beautiful, extraordinary love. But I’m so thankful it did. I can’t wait to see where the rest of our journey takes us.
