Where is the ceremony and reception taking place in relation to Asheville?

Answer

We will be about 20 minutes outside of Asheville on the Blue Ridge Parkway up in the Smoky Mountains! It won't be a far drive away from the city and will definitely be worth it for the views alone! On the way back to the city, we recommend taking the longer 40 minute "scenic" route. The app WAZE will help guide you there if you're unfamiliar with the area.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Keep in mind that the wedding will be held on a farm, so stilettos may not be advised. If you struggle in heels, we recommend ditching them for some flatter shoes. Otherwise, dresses/suits/the like are welcome.

Why have the reception so early?

Answer

So we can explore the nightlife in Asheville after! Everyone is welcome to a casual bar crawl in some of the local pubs. Oh, and we will be enjoying a casual brunch in the morning the next day!

Will there be a rehearsal dinner or any events the evening before?

Answer

As people will be still getting to Asheville and our wedding is on the weekend during a busy time of the year, we've opted to skip the rehearsal dinner and allow everyone to get settled in.
