Our story began in the summer of 2015 at a mutual friend's (groomsman Landon Baird) surprise birthday party. Both of us had been eliminated from a game and we started up a conversation. By the end of the night each left with a different thought: Me, that that Brian guy was kind of cute, Brian, that he had met the girl he was going to marry. Later on that summer he even told a friend that he was going to marry this girl he met at a surprise party. A couple weeks pass and one night after mass, Brian asked me if I wanted to go to Dairy Queen or dinner after. I had been daydreaming about Landon's cute friend Brian, so obviously, I said yes and ran to tell my friends while Brian waited patiently. As we drove away, our friend Reilley shouted "Have fun on your date!". It was at that point that Brian realized it was in fact, a date. He had expected me to invite our other friends as we had done before. Despite an awkward "first date" at Qdoba, we've been together ever since. Over the years as we navigated graduating high school, starting college, first and second jobs, and a pandemic we have been each other's sounding board, cheerleader and biggest support. I wouldn't have it any other way. We are so excited to share our day with you as we (finally) become husband and wife. Hopefully our first date story tells you a little bit more about our relationship over the years - Brian always ready to jump in, support and patiently love no matter what and me, ready to take action, plan, and dream for our future (even if it is a little early).
