It was like high school. You know that feeling when you see your crush...and you can feel your cheeks get hot...and then any hold on the English language goes right out the window...and you start to lose focus on all of the other things in the room? It was like that. Coffee every morning became the ritual. Conversations blossomed and bonds grew. And soon it wasn't just morning coffee. It then became afternoon tea. And then, finally, a date. A date that would be recreated every year just as it happened the first time, with coffee and music and exploration and pizza and beer. A perfect date. Now years later we're planning another perfect date!
