To start from the VERY beginning, we had a class together in middle school, grew up in the same small town, sought out careers in the auto industry, and ended up finally meeting as two young adults working for the same auto group... it wasn’t possible to ignore our chemistry. Jonathan and I met in 2016 when he came to my office at Ford looking for some forms he needed at Nissan down the street. We instantly started a very unique friendship. I was enamored by his company; we are so alike and so different. When he asked me on our first date to Longhorns, it took some convincing for him to get me to go. (I really do love my sleep!) But I’ve never been happier that I ended up saying “yes” to a date with him. After our dinner full of laughter and discussing our lifelong dreams, we took our cars out racing for some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. Mama, don’t worry! He showed me that he was and is a gentleman of God, one who I could see myself taking on this crazy, fun life with. A year and a half later, the man I have fallen in love with proposed at the same Longhorns where he stole my heart. & the true beginning of our love story begins September 2nd, 2018.
