FAQs

The Wedding Website of Zoë Zilz and Robin Hutchinson
Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

We have so much stuff, just ask our housemates. If you really must, we would enjoy a contribution to our honeymoon fund or a nice bottle of liquor (Robin likes whiskey/rum, Zoë likes tequila) but be warned that it may end up on the self-serve wedding bar! If you are local and want to contribute to wedding setup/booze, here is a list of helpful weekend-of tasks and stuff (booze) we need: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ofpcynKbfcmnhxI-uiN5b3DKwtkl-Lu9v00FF66oJ78/edit?gid=1685298963#gid=1685298963

Question

Where do I stay if I'm from out of town and I don't want to camp?

Answer

We get it! Camping is dirty and uncomfortable, just like us. You'd like a soft bed! We have a list of recommended hotels/air bnbs on the "Travel" page just for you!

Question

I'm camping! What should I pack?

Answer

Hell yeah brother! Glad you're down to get down in the dirt with us. Here's a packing list: * if coming to BBQ on Friday, bring something to grill, a plate, and utensils for yourself * - tent OR trailer OR camper of some kind - sleeping bag - sleeping pad/air mattress/cot - cooler with food for breakfast, lunch, snacks on Saturday - bathingsuit for river swimming - floaties - towel - sunhat + sunscreen - PLEASE bring a reusable waterbottle and/or cup - camp chair(s) for chilling and for ceremony seating - warm clothes for night time - headlamp/lantern/string lights - Western-themed outfit for Friday night BBQ (the crazier the better) - cute outfit for the ceremony/reception STUFF YOU WON'T NEED BUT MIGHT BE FUN: - cowboy boots - toy dinosaurs - cool sunglasses - disco ball - party lights - mesh shirts - ribbons - eclectic decor - kazoo - giant floating unicorn - frisbee

Question

I have a trailer/RV. What should I plan for?

Answer

Trailers and RVs are more than welcome! There are a few spots that are perfect for RVs. Please let us know in your RSVP if you will be bringing a trailer/RV and approximately how long it is, and we will assign you a spot using [the spreadsheet we haven't made yet]. Please be aware that there are NO hookups or dumpsites, so come with a full battery, water tank, and be prepared to boondock.

Question

I'm flying in and can't bring all my camping gear! What do I do?

Answer

Please let us know ASAP! We have extra tents, sleeping pads, and sleeping bags but not that many!

Question

Is the campground/wedding dog friendly?

Answer

Yes! As long as your pupper is good with other dogs, people, and children, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to bring them! Attire for dogs is black tie optional.

Question

Should I bring my kiddo(s)?

Answer

Yes! Camping is for everyone, especially kids. They are free to run wild during the ceremony and reception. Attire for kids is also black tie.
