Our Story!

The Invisible String Theory is the idea that people are connected to their “person” by an unbreakable string that transcends time, distance, and geography. Now, for Me and Zoa, this is not a theory but a true fact. We originally met in 8th grade on our trip to the University of Utah. We weren’t close friends, and we barely knew what the future had planned for us, but something about that first meeting stuck, just a quiet spark neither of us forgot. We then had several classes where we sat together in the 9th grade. where fate took another step forward and sat us right next to each other in class. We talked. We laughed. And without even trying, we became a small but meaningful part of each other’s everyday routine. Even then, it always felt easy, like we already knew each other. We went to a Halloween party together at the start of 10th grade. Another moment. Another spark. Even though we still weren’t constantly talking or hanging out, anytime we did cross paths, it felt like something was pulling us back together again. Everything changed in sophomore year, when Zoa asked me to be her Escort to Drill Review. That night, I think the invisible string became visible, not just to us, but to everyone around us. Then we went to the cowboy prom together, and on the mesa, beneath the stars, that little spark we kept running into finally bloomed into something undeniable, like the universe had been waiting for us to notice. We realized we weren’t just crossing paths anymore… we were meant to walk forward together. Then, on July 21, 2021, with a little help from Daya(the best wingman there ever was), we began our love story for real. Since then, 1592 days and counting, we’ve made a lifetime of memories: many escape rooms, late-night In-N-Out trips, playing Fortnite while watching movies, long drives that turned into deeper talks, and nights where we just didn’t want to say goodbye. No matter what we were doing, we did it together, and it has been the best days of our lives. Every day we grow stronger together and fall more in love. Whether it is eating at the most expensive restaurant in town or eating ramen on the couch, all that matters is each other's company.  Now, we are so excited to stand in front of our family and friends, surrounded by love and the people who have cheered us on, and finally become husband and wife!
