There are 3 main "chain" hotels in Pittsfield:
1. Best Western: 1350 W Housatonic Street Pittsfield MA
2. The Holiday Inn: 1 West Street Pittsfield MA. The largest chain hotel in Pittsfield. They have been doing construction so I would request a room that is NOT connected to the pool area.
3. Hotel on North: 297 North Street Pittsfield MA. This is a locally owned hotel on the main street in Pittsfield. It is a more custom/luxury hotel compared to chains like Holiday Inn Express. https://www.hotelonnorth.com/
There are also a number of nice towns within ~1 hour of Pittsfield if you would want to do some sightseeing. These places have a number of small "bed and breakfast" type hotel rooms.
Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge are ~30 min away from Pittsfield, small town vibe. A bit farther (~1 hour) places like North Hampton (very nice small city).
