We met through our business fraternity at Illinois State University. Being in the business fraternity allowed us to spend more time together and eventually were in the same friend group. We bonded over attending rival high schools and our love for the MLB and college football. The more and more time we spent together we realized there was something special and made it official in April of 2018 at a St. Louis Cardinals game.

While on our family vacation to Rome, Italy, Alexa thought their visit to Castel Sant'Angelo was just another site to see. Little did she know that up on the Terrace of Angel overlooking Rome, her life was about to change. Alexa & Dalton were taking a picture with the breathtaking view overlooking Rome. Alexa thought the picture was over, so she started to walk away but then Dalton said "I have one more thing" and got down on one knee. Alexa was so shocked that she responded with "Are you joking?!" and proceed to nod her head yes and say "OMG" for the next few minutes. We were then engaged in the city of love. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Georgia!
