What should you wear?

Answer

It will be an evening garden party, we suggest between a semi formal and cocktail style for the party. The event will be photographed. What is garden party? Think sundresses, thin button downs, cotton, lightweight, breathable fabrics, in a variety of colors, textures, and prints(If you have a question about your outfit please reach out to the bride). Will there be food?

Answer

Yes, there will be a variety of the couples favorite foods. - Think family picnic for the menu. BBQ meets, assorted veggies, food that is easy to carry around a party. - There WILL be gluten free options available

Is this a sit down dinner?

Answer

You are able to sit down to eat, but its more family-buffet-scrounge style. Eat what you want, when you want, and how much you want.

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Yes! The couple loves a large variety of different beverages and will be providing: Homemade meads, Vodka, Tequila, Rum, wine, and beer will also be provided. Drinks that do not include alcohol: Water, tea, lemonade, soda, and juice.

Is the event indoor or outdoor?

Answer

This is a backyard wedding in Arizona in June. There will be a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Be prepared to eat, drink, play games, kids activity corner, dancing, and more.

Will there be swimming?

Answer

The pool is part of the decor, think of it as a pond at the edge of the garden. We ask that you do not go for a dip during the party.

Will there be a bonfire?

Answer

To be determined due to weather. This happy couple likes to curl up near the fire whenever possible to enjoy the heat and the simplicity of just relaxing. Children under the age of 16 MUST have an adult accompany them around the fire at ALL times IF there is a fire.

Why is the Reception on Saturday and the Ceremony on Sunday?

Answer

This couple has never done things traditionally. Doing things a little backwards is par for the course for these two. Saturday reception gives them the opportunity to have all their friends and family present to celebrate their new journey in life.

What about the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be an intimate affair for imediate family, grandparents, and the wedding party. June 15th is a special day for Matt's family, the couple is wanting to keep the day special and maintain the importance of the day to them.

Why not have the ceremony and reception on the same day?

Answer

The couple have chosen to get married on Sunday June 15th, 2025. This is a date that is important to them. Due to it being a Sunday, Father's Day, and Gram's birthday. Celebrating with everyone first at the party will allow for the families to unite in a loving and fun way.
