When and where is the wedding ceremony?

The wedding ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Dunwoody Nature Center in a beautiful, woodsy outdoor setting.

Is the ceremony or reception outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors at Dunwoody Nature Center. The reception at the Lake House will be indoors/outdoors.

What should we expect for the weather?

Answer

Late March in Atlanta is usually comfortable, with mild daytime temperatures and cooler evenings. We suggest light layers for the outdoor ceremony.

What if it rains?

Answer

We have a plan in place to ensure the ceremony proceeds comfortably in the event of rain. The wedding ceremony will be moved to the Lake House at Avondale Estates where the reception will also be located.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We suggest cocktail attire or semi-formal. Because the ceremony is outdoors, we recommend: Comfortable shoes (block heels, wedges, or flats) Light layers in case the evening is cool

Will there be transportation between venues?

Answer

Guests will be responsible for their own transportation between the ceremony and reception venues. Both locations are a short drive from one another.

Will there be dinner?

Answer

Yes! We will have a cocktail gathering waiting for the wedding party at the Lake House. Dinner will be served at the reception following the cocktail hour. We’re excited to celebrate with great food, music, and dancing. We hope you’ll join us on the dance floor as we celebrate.

Can I take and share photos of the wedding?

Answer

We’ll have a QR code available at the ceremony and reception that you can scan with your phone to upload photos directly to our wedding gallery. We kindly ask that you are fully present during the ceremony. This allows us to see the day through everyone’s perspective — candid moments, dance floor fun, and everything in between!

Answer

No app is required. Simply scan the QR code and upload your photos right from your phone.
