Where are you getting married?

Answer

Our special weekend will take place at the Atelier Playa Mujeres located on the Yucatán Peninsula, just north of Cancún, Mexico. Get your passports ready!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

According to our dear friend, Google, the weather in Costa Mujeres in March is pleasantly warm, humid but cool, with average highs of 81°F and lows of 72°F.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We encourage our guests to embrace the vibrance of the tropical setting with Tropical Formal attire. This means opting for lightweight suits or elegant dresses in bright or colorful hues. Choose elegant cocktail dresses or gowns in breathable fabrics, paired with dressy sandals or heels. Alternatively, consider lightweight suits such as linen or cotton, with or without a tie, paired with dress shoes or loafers. Is this a beach wedding?

Answer

No. None of the wedding day events will take place on on the beach or near sand.

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, especially since you are traveling to join us. Physical gifts are not necessary! However, if you would like to browse our wedding registry, any items can be shipped directly to our home address. Please, no boxed gifts. Your presence means the world to us.

Have you reserved a room block at the resort?

Do I need to stay at the resort venue for the wedding events?

Answer

Yes, please book accommodations at the resort through our travel coordinator. We have reserved a block of rooms for your convenience and to ensure that everyone can be together to celebrate throughout the festivities. Staying at the resort will also allow you to relax and make the most of your time celebrating with us! If you have extenuating circumstances, please reach out to Evan or Samantha.

Is the resort all-inclusive?

Answer

Yes, Atelier is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort with limitless gourmet food, top-shelf drinks, and never-ending activities. We thoughtfully chose a resort we know our guests would love while experiencing a five-star vacation.

Are there transportation options to and from the airport and resort?

Answer

Ground transportation is included but optional. You can book transportation to and from the airport and resort with our travel coordinator when booking your stay, which we strongly recommend.

What days do I need to be available for wedding festivities?

Answer

We would like to invite everyone to our Welcome Cocktail Party on the night of March 6th. The Ceremony and Reception will take place on March 7th. Along with a pool party March 8th.

How long can I stay at the resort before/after the wedding?

Answer

The group rate requires a stay of at least three nights and no more than seven nights. Otherwise, we would love for you to stay as long as you’d like! We will be Honeymooning in Europe Summer of 2025, so don’t worry about crashing our party! We are looking forward to spending as much time as possible with our family and friends.

What dates are the Bride and Groom going to be at the resort?

We will arrive on March 4th and stay until March 10th.

When do I need to reserve my resort accommodations?

Answer

Secure your accommodations by booking before October 1st, 2024. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Do I need to purchase travel insurance?

Answer

Travel insurance is optional. If you are unsure, please discuss it with our travel coordinator to determine the best option for you. If you do select travel insurance, if you need to cancel your travel plans for any reason prior to your originally scheduled departure time, you'll receive a refund or future travel credit (depending on the plan you purchase) with the exception of the cost of your plan.

When should I book my flights?

Answer

Our travel coordinator recommends that everyone book their flights separately as they see fit. The airport you will want to fly into is Cancún International Airport, CUN.

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

Our travel coordinator will compile a list of RSVPs as our guests book their travel accommodations. We will send an additional RSVP request with our official invitations closer to the event.

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

We will be updating our wedding website with details and additional information as it becomes available to us. In the event of any major changes, we will communicate by email and/or text.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We are currently working with our events team to determine what food and drink options will be made available. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP as we want everyone to have the necessary options.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to resort restrictions, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. We hope you look forward to a fun, relaxing, adult-focused trip.
