As High School Rivals, we have known each other for a long time. Kristin would cheer against Josh at the high school basketball games (even though Josh's team always won). But our love story began years later. When we were both out for a mutual friends birthday party, we spotted each other and instantly had a connection. Since that day we have been inseparable.

Kristin's favorite flowers have been sunflowers ever since she was a little girl. All summer she had talked about wanting to go to a sunflower field. Josh would constantly ask "what do you even do at a sunflower field" Kristin thought nothing of it, really thinking he was just trying to get out of going. We finally found the perfect sunflower field that had a pumpkin patch as well. Both of our favorite things! While walking through the sunflower field, Josh stopped and said "Kristin Marie Gerda, you are my best friend in the entire world and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" of course she said yes!!!! For an even bigger surprise, their closest family and friends were all there waiting behind the tall sunflowers to celebrate the best day ever!! It was a moment we will never forget!
