We met at Brick3 Pizza one late Friday night after being out with friends. Chris and his booming voice were hard to go unnoticed and Zina just wanted to pick his brain. What followed was a four hour long conversation...it’s safe to say that we’re both talkers. We talked again the next day and made plans for our first date the following Saturday.

The proposal that Chris planned almost didn’t come to fruition because Zina was being stubborn…claiming tiredness 😂. Chris invited Zina’s best friends out for his birthday and decided to make a pit stop at Brick3 Pizza. Zina did not want to get out of the car but relented after everyone else got out of their cars and upon Chris’ insistence that they were doing everything as a group that night. It was Chris’ birthday after all, and Zina didn’t want to ruin it. Once inside, they both told their versions of how they met all the while Chris was setting up his proposal in the very spot they met over two years before..
