Where is everything located?
Answer
Both the ceremony and the reception will occur at Saint John's Resort in Plymouth MI! Everything is connected indoors, so once you've arrived at the venue you can safely assume you'll be there for the duration of the night. There is also a hotel within Saint John's, so if you've booked there you have the trifecta of a one stop shop!

Where should we stay?
Answer
We'd recommend you either stay at the hotel where the events will occur, Saint John's Resort, or at the Garden Hilton Hotel! Rooms are very limited at Saint John's so if you're looking to book there we'd recommend you call ASAP. We have a hotel block at Garden Hilton which will include a shuttle to and from the venue.

Is there a hotel block?
Answer
We do have a block at the Hilton-Gardens Hotel which is half a mile from the venue. Rooms are locked at a $150 rate for either a King or double queen (excluding taxes). To book here, you are able to call directly at 734-354-0001 and book into the Zimmermann-Simmons Wedding or use our group code 93P. Will there be a shuttle?
Answer
There will be a shuttle from the Garden Hilton to St. Johns before the ceremony, before the cocktail hour, and a few times throughout the evening during the end of the reception and after the reception.

What is the parking situation?
Answer
Saint John's Resort has plenty of parking! You are able to park there for the ceremony and/or reception, or leave your car overnight.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Dressy Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, dark jackets and slacks, or suits.

Are kids invited?
Answer
While we love your kids we are having an adults only ceremony and reception with the exception of those participating in the ceremony. You are more than welcome to bring your kids with you to your hotel and make a weekend of your trip to Plymouth (we encourage it!) but ask that you have a nanny or sitter for the duration of the ceremony and reception.

How long is the ceremony?

We are having a Catholic wedding ceremony so it will likely be between 45 minutes and an hour.

Is there a welcome party?
Answer
While we are not specifically having a welcome party, we invite anyone who will be in town Thursday night to join us in downtown Plymouth! This will be a cash bar situation, but we'd love to give you a hug and say hello! We’ll be having our rehearsal dinner at Park Place Gastropub, so feel free to meet us there after at 8pm onwards!

What are the wedding colors?
Answer
Black, white & some muted greens. The bridesmaids will be wearing a variety of green tones in olive & sage. The bride will probably not be wearing green. Not sure what color but who knows!!! It's a mystery.
