Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
With beautiful architecture as well as gardens, Phipps is a lovely place to take a stroll and bask in living art. This attraction is close to the University of Pittsburgh, so be sure to visit campus (and Hemingway's, Lizzy's favorite place for a beer between class!)
Carnegie Museum of Natural History and Museum of Art
Art. Dinosaur bones. Mummies. This place has it all. (read in Stefon's voice from SNL)
Ramen Bar
Located in Lizzy's former grad school neighborhood, Ramen Bar is go-to for a big bowl of comfort. Tan Tan Men is her favorite!
Primanti Bros.
Can't go wrong with a Pittsburgh classic. Gotta do it for the 'gram.
Mineo Pizza House
A Pittsburgh staple. But beware if you prefer more "minimalist" pie, as any Mineo's pizza is loaded with HEAVY sauce, cheese, and toppings. If Mineo's doesn't float your boat, Aiello's and Napoli's just a few doors down may be more your speed.
Monongahela Incline at Station Square
Ride the incline up to Mt. Washington for a great vantage point of the three rivers and cityscape. Plus, while you're up on Mt. Washington, get some wings at Bigham Tavern.
Mancini's Bread Co.
Kevin's all time favorite pepperoni roll! While you're in the Strip District, be sure to take a walk through all the specialty grocers and grab some samples at Wigle Whiskey.
