Wonderful views from the top of the dunes! You can take the scenic drive and stop at lookout points along the way. The Dune Overlook stop is what you are looking for. Note this is not the dune climb but is better than the dune climb as it overlooks Lake Michigan. This can be driven to and doesn’t require the physical nature of the Pyramid Point trail or the dune climb stop. However you can walk down to Lake Michigan from the dune overlook and climb back up which is a physical adventure.
Leelanau is Michigan's wine country. There are wineries a plenty throughout the peninsula. A few of our favorites are Shady Lane Cellars (grood wine and great outdoor tasting room), Mawby (bubbles!,), and Black Star Farms (grab some cheese and meats here).
Rent some bikes and take them on a wine tasting tour or just enjoy the nearby trails.
Make sure to stop by Tilly's Party Store right down the road for trail sodas and frisbee golf discs. Local in town favorite frisbee golf

One of our favorite restaurants in the area. Don't miss the forage board!
Great spot to grab a drink and take a break from wine tasting.
Traverse City loves that Film. Michael Moore started a film festival, around 10 years ago. This building was converted into a cozy theater showing fun flicks and the occasional blockbuster.
Random event being held in Downtown TC Saturday.
Fun times!! Might need to schedule about 3-4 hours for this. Try to leave a second car at the end to speed up finishing. Also some shorter option.
Beautiful river that is usually not as busy as Platt River. Takes about 2 hours to Kayak
