How Close is the French Quarter
Answer
French Quarter is 4.7 Miles from our wedding venue. It takes roughly 15 mins to get there. Feel free to come to New Orleans early and make a long weekend out of it, there's plenty to see and do to keep you occupied, especially if you like hearty food and enjoy a strong drink.

Is Renting a car worth it
Answer
Debating about renting a car? French Quarter and Garden District can be reached via street car for under a dollar. Ubers take about 15 mins and are about $12 one way between the two areas. While an uber from the airport in will be an expense, we've found renting cars in New Orleans is not worth the effort between of the cost of the hotel parking and the challenge of finding parking on the streets in French Quarter we recommend ubering or riding the trolleys, but if you don't plan on drinking and are not on time constraints, renting a car can be a good way to get around the town and see things further out of the city.
