Though we're now Chicagoans, we've lived in Minneapolis long enough to scope out some of the best spots. Here are some of our top recommendations!

We went here on our first date. Needless to say, we had a blast!

LynLake Brewery

Neighborhood pub with amazing American and English-inspired food. We went here on our second date...and this is where Tom proposed!

George and the Dragon Pub

We are very much coffee snobs and this is one of our favorite spots in the city. Paige's favorite: The Kingfield. Tom's favorite: Shot in the Nutz

Five Watt Coffee Lyndale

Beautiful spot that connects downtown Minneapolis to Northeast Minneapolis. We'd recommend renting some bikes and riding across!

Stone Arch Bridge & Mill Ruins Park

It wouldn't be a trip to Minnesota without a trip to the lake. When the weather's nice, we love to cycle around the lake and check out the mansions. Kayaks and canoes are also available for you to rent.

Lake of the Isles

Arcade bar (21+) with rooftop where we've spent so many nights with friends. We recommend pinball (obviously) and 4-player PacMan.

Up-Down Minneapolis

Sculpture garden next to the Walker Art Museum. This is the quintessential place for out-of-towners to take pictures!

We love seeing local comedy - no matter what city we're in. Sisyphus has great beer and free/affordable comedy shows, almost every night of the week. Also has a dog-friendly taproom that's perfect for playing board games.
