We decided to go ahead and get married in an intimate ceremony this past August, 2020. We were heartbroken that we could not invite every one of our friends and family. As November is approaching, we look forward to celebrating with everyone soon. Keep an eye out for more information as we get closer to the date. Invitations will be sent out soon!
During sophomore year of high school, our mutual love of books and spectacular stories brought us together. The summer after junior prom, we went on our first date canoeing in the Coginchaug river behind Henry's house. We spent night after night talking into the wee hours of the morning, learning every little thing about each other (we were severely sleep deprived high school seniors). In the next few years, we graduated high school, survived college, and moved in together (with David too). One hot August summer, we went for a walk in the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain. We ducked under the willowy branches of a katsura tree where Henry pulled out a ring and got down on one knee. Our adventure is ten years long; the road we followed was hilly and windy and we took a few wrong turns. Still, we held on and never faltered. Here we are now, ready to devote the rest of our lives to each other and continue the story. We are so happy that we will share this part of our ongoing journey with all the people we love.
