Lots of bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors and tons of picturesque spots along the Potomac river

Old Town Alexandria Waterfront

Across the bridge from Old Town in Maryland is one of our favorite spots, National Harbor! The waterfront here has lots of shopping, restaurants, and even a carousel and ferris wheel

National Harbor

A short 20-30 minute drive away from Old Town is Georgetown in DC. Again, lots of shopping and good eats, it is one of our favorite places to go since Andrew's campus is located here

Georgetown Waterfront Park

A smaller shopping mall area with plenty to see and do. Their downstairs food hall with outdoor seating was one of our favorite places to go when Andrew was living in Arlington
