Question

Do we need to provide a negative COVID-19 test?

Answer

At this moment we are following NY STATE CDC guidelines. If you are not vaccinated, masks are strongly suggested. If you are feeling ill or have any COVID-19 symptoms please stay home!

Question

Can I bring a guest or a plus 1?

Answer

Your invitation/RSVP will indicate how many seats/plates are reserved for you! If only 1 spot has been reserved for you, please do not bring a guest. Due to space and budget, everyone will not be able to bring a guest or a "plus one". This is a grand yet intimate affair and the couple will ensure that you are comfortable and have an amazing night! Please note, the guest list will be strictly adhered too.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love and adore your children but in order to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day an Adults Only affair! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the little ones at home so that you can celebrate with us!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

YES, there is a dress code!!! This is a FORMAL /SEMI - FORMAL event

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The final day to RSVP will be listed on your formal invitation! It is very important to RSVP on or before the deadline! If you do not RSVP before this date, we will not be able to accommodate you on our wedding day

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “NO,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Doors to the ceremony will open at 7:00pm. Please arrive, and be seated, no later than 7:45pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 8:00pm! If you arrive late, you will not be admitted into the ceremony after it begins!

Question

Is the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will both be held at Jericho Terrace starting at 8:00 PM sharp!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Our Ceremony will be "UNPLUGGED" meaning that we will ask that all guests silence and put away phones, cameras, and all electronic devices in order to be present and in the moment with us as we take our vows before God and all of our friends and family! We have a team of the BEST photographers and videographers to capture our wedding and promise to share photos! Please do not take photos, record videos, or go live before we are announced as Mr. and Mrs!! However, after we are announced as Mr. and Mrs., snap and post away!!!! We highly encourage guests to take and post pictures onto their social media channels & tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #SmithHappens so we can keep track of all of your beautiful pictures!

For all the days along the way
